Are there any nationality or country restrictions for opening a new account?
Truly Financial has restrictions on the countries that it will service, at both the client level and at the payer level. If the account user or any of the business stakeholders lives or has a direct or indirect presence in one of the following countries, we cannot approve them for an account with Truly Financial.
- North Korea
- South Sudan
The above list is subject to change from time to time-based on country risk rating and based on changes to the international political situation.
In addition, Truly Financial may restrict the countries to which payments can be sent or received, including but not limited to the jurisdictions listed above. The restricted list of countries for payment processing is based on our compliance policy international risk ratings, and sanctions – all of which may change several times a year.
